Nicolino`s Restaurant in Amsterdam

Hosted a baby shower here. Place is nice and staff is nice. Just wish they would have let us in sooner. Event started at 11 but couldn't get in before 10:15. Guests were showing up before the decorating was completed.

Nice place and food was amazing. Felt bad for the cooks though.

We frequent Nicolino's. Don't care for accoustics nor odors from the kitchen in their new spacious addition. Something which can be fixed. The food is good and so is the service.

My son lives in the area so we had dinner at Nicolino's when I visited him. Decor had me worried but food was totally amazing. Bread, garlic olive oil and parmesan served before the meal were the best I've ever had. We both had the squash ravioli with chicken, shrimp and gorganzola sauce special. Other than overcooked peppers it was out of this world! So big I had to take three quarters of it home. Extensive menu and specials. Quality you would expect to pay much more for. This restaurant exceeds expectations.

I really truly love eating here. It’s cozy, not costly, and I got a lot for my meal. I love the fresh bread and it comes pre-cut. What other restaurants do that!?! Definitely good for gatherings and dates. I went here with my best friend to celebrate our birthdays last year. It’s a wonderful place.

Very busy place, had to wait even though we had a reservation but was well worth it. Excellent food and fantastic wait staff. Couldn't have been more pleased.

Came in for lunch while travelling and the place was packed. One wing of the restaurant was taken over by a large party for a baby shower. They only had open seating at the bar. I dont usually like sitting at the bar, but the bartender was fantastic. She was friendly and attentive.They bring fresh bread with garlic oil and grated parmesan for dipping while you wait for your food. It's really good. The main dishes are huge portions. You could probably split one with your date and both be full or maybe have a little room for dessert. If we are driving back this way we will stop in for sure.

Absolutely love Nicolino's! The penne vodka with chicken is one of my favorite dishes. The vodka sauce is to die for! They also have some of the BEST bread made fresh right on the spot that I've ever had at a restaurant. Owners & staff very personable and friendly always stop by the table to make sure your meal is up to standards. AND they also do takeout if you're in a hurry and want some awesome food to take home after work!

The food here was as beautiful as it was delicious. The lady behind the bar was very nice and you could tell they cared greatly for the quality of food and service here. Such a great find as we was passing through the area, well worth a little detour.

Bring your appetite! The food is fantastic and the portions are far larger than any normal stomach can accommodate. Despite a full house, the service was prompt and friendly, with just the right balance of attentiveness and privacy.

Great food! My aunt and I try to get together a couple of times a year to catch up over dinner and this is where we go. Wednesday night's is parm night and we love the zucchini parm! Oh and the bacon wrapped shrimp is delicious too! Service is always good. Friendly staff.

Thanksgiving dinner was excellent. Our waitress, Nancy, was unfazed with special needs. This was the second year we enjoyed dining there for Thanksgiving. Thanks for everything.

Staff was very helpful and very customer-oriented. We were celebrating our grandson Zachary's 19th birthday and he chose nicolino's. Great choice Zachary.

The place is very inviting and very clean. Great Italian atmosphere. The food is another thing. There's no flavor in the sauce and it tastes like it was 2 days old. The customer service was very poor. The lady did not present herself well and she had an attitude. She was quite rude regarding a certain dish. Our family hope that the owner can resolve these issues for the future of our Montgomery residents and visitors through out other states. It's a shame that the appearances of the place is much eye catching then the food and service. Thank you!

The place has awesome service but the food is just ok for the most part. You can get much better in Schenectady if you are looking for amazing Italian food. But for the price and the food you get it's still a solid place to go in the area for a nice sit down meal.

Good atmosphere...but if your looking for goid foid and service go somewhere else ...its hard to write this .. but food service albiet pleasant...slow cold lacking in every respect you want from a restaurant...

Our waitress Nancy made us feel at home. Her pleasantness was great. Excellent service. We will be dining there more often.

Best Italian food around!

the only reason they got one star was because the bread is good. service is absolutely atrocious. an hour after we ordered they came out and said that there was no more food and we just got served with our food after waiting for two hours. they gave us attitude when one of our steaks wasn’t cooked right. absolutely terrible.

Waitress was out of sorts. Don't get the baked clams, it was all breadcrumbs soaked in butter. Warm bread was good!!!!

What a PLEASANT surprise when we entered Nicolinos! The ambience was warm and inviting, as was the staff. The food was excellent with generous portions. Wed night is Parmesan Night...you dont want to miss this special!

A nice change from other over priced options in Amsterdam.

Friendly staff and environment. Food was perfectly cooked. The bread with garlic olive oil was delicious. It was warm and straight out of the oven. Prices were fair. They are currently undergoing some renovations to update both interior and exterior decor, but it did not take away from the charm of the place. Definitely call ahead for a reservation, it was packed the entire two hours we were there.
